J-STD-001 Certified Specialist (CIS)
Connector Assembly Qualification
Minimum 2-4 years of cable assembly experience
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift to 50 lbs
Ability to execute installation/lifting of heavy equipment and use of/climbing ladders
Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and harness build rework
Capable of reading and following cable drawings and travelers

Job Responsibility

Execute cable manufacturing operations, trains junior technicians, ensures build compliance, and supports QA inspections
Perform standard cable build, soldering, and testing under supervision, ensuring adherence to IPC Class 3 workmanship standards
Support assembly and testing processes
Review schematics and other technical documentation
Maintain, clean, and perform basic upkeep of equipment
Communicate updates and technical issues to Lead
