Job Description:

Lakeshore Kitchen Tune-up is seeking an entry level Cabinet Technicians / Trim Carpenters / Cabinet Installers / Experienced cabinet re-facers to work on home remodeling projects. This is a hands-on position. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet re-dooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects. We work primarily in kitchen & bathroom remodeling and cabinetry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Arrive to job site on time
  • Follow instructions given by project manager
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress
  • Follow Kitchen Tune Up Trustpoints on every job
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Work quickly and efficiently
  • Be able to follow all company installation processes and procedures
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
  • Able to put on veneer on boxes
  • Able to install end panels
  • Able to install cabinet doors and drawer fronts
  • Able to drill for hinges
  • Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
  • Able to modify existing cabinets when required
  • Able to cut & install crown molding
  • Able to install new cabinets
  • Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate power hand tools
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have no physical limitations to perform required tasks
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must have a smart phone with internet access

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in cabinet refacing and cabinet installation
  • Understand Cabinet layout designs and terminology
  • Prior experience in custom shop work
  • Able to perform minor handyman work including electrical outlets, installing microwaves, and an understanding of basic plumbing
