Job Responsibility:
Consistently deliver exceptional service that reflects British Airways’ premium standards
Ensure the highest levels of safety, security, and well-being on every flight
Follow all corporate policies and regulatory procedures with full compliance
Create calm, confidence, and meaningful engagement for customers in every situation
Demonstrate inclusivity, cultural sensitivity with the ability and openness to work in diverse, multicultural teams and environments
Work closely with your crew to deliver seamless, memorable journeys
Requirements:
Be 18 years old or over at the time of application
Have at least 12 months’ customer service experience
Be fluent in spoken and written English
Hold a valid passport with at least 12 months before expiry and unrestricted global travel rights
Have the right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
Be eligible to apply for and obtain a US visa
Pass criminal record checks for countries of residence in the last five years
Be willing to work 24/7 shift patterns, including weekends, holidays, and standby duties near Heathrow
Be able to wear the British Airways uniform with no visible tattoos or body piercings (tattoos must be fully covered without plasters or bandages)
Successfully complete initial safety and service training to obtain your UK CAA Cabin Crew Attestation
Maximum height of 6ft 5in (195.5 cm) and minimum functional reach of 2.01m
Ability to swim 50 metres and tread water for 3 minutes
Confidence working at height, including descending a 9-metre escape slide
Ability to lift and move equipment in confined spaces
Passing a British Airways medical assessment
