Sub-system/Equipment/Component/Module Cabin and Cargo Development Engineer. In TADAC3 we are accountable of the development of equipment and systems included in the cabin and in the cargo compartment of MRTT and C295, as well as the full definition of the cabin lay-out . This includes from cargo loading systems or winches till seats, galleys or intensive care units. We have also developed different cargo equipment for the A400M, like RVO seat or RAS/Wedge. In addition, we are contributing to key offers based in new platforms like PATMAR or A321 AEW&C and other feasibility-phase programs like FMTC/FASSET or SATOC. Our department has full visibility of the complete V&V cycle, participating actively in the very initial moments of the offers, in the multiple program milestones in front of the customer (i.e SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc) being in close contact with many organizations like chief engineering, program office, manufacturing engineering, certification, procurement, supply chain and many other design offices. And last but not least, leading international supplier management. In addition we provide in-service support to the A400M, MRTT and C295 fleets.
Job Responsibility:
Support to chief engineering and program offices in the offer preparation, evaluating cabin and cargo required budget and activities
Leading design activities in different programs, creating main part list, producing parts, assys , etc and considering the different certification requirements and design principle/regulations into the design
Producing certification and qualification documentation
Steer external workpackages with sub- contractors
Define purchaser technical specification to external suppliers, performing technical assessment in the selection process and leading here after specific developments
Manage prototype development
Support flight test campaigns, producing the associated documentation
Support to conversion center (MRTT) or FAL (c295)
Support to A/C deliveries and familiarization activities with our customers
Support to Services from DO perspective (i.e creation of RESTIF)
Requirements:
Master degree or bachelor degree in aeronautical or industrial engineering
B2/C1 level of English
More than 3 years of experience in aeronautical engineering activities
Knowledge of Airbus DS engineering tools (DMS, DOORs, SNT, etc) appreciated
Knowledge of Catia V5 and design experience (i.e mechanical and/or composite design in this or other disciplines) is strongly valued
Knowledge of electrical design (i.e schematic diagrams ) is also considered
Experience managing suppliers or external companies is also taken into account
Nice to have:
