Job Description

The cleanliness and enjoyment of a hotel/resorts recreational areas is one of the main reasons that keep our guests returning to and recommending our hotels to friends and family. It goes without saying that experience a guest has while enjoying the pool environment is one of the most memorable of their stay. We are looking for individuals with tremendous personalities, great attention to detail to join our team as a Part-time Recreation Attendant. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through their attention to detail and care they take in ensuring the pool experience is next to none. A great Recreation team can make memories for guests that will last a lifetime!

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain proper attendance
  • Comply with company policies
  • Interact with guests and beach customers to assign or rent cabana equipment
  • Extend hospitality and courtesy to guests and other employees
  • Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, complaints in a friendly, courteous, helpful manner
  • Perform clean up duties at the beach cabana area
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and operational
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all cabana equipment
  • Respond to all requests from Front Desk, management, or guests
  • Observe all safety rules
  • employ safe work practices when performing duties
  • Use personal protective equipment as needed
  • maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary working environment
  • Present a well-groomed, professional appearance
  • adhere to uniform regulations and practice good personal hygiene
  • If applicable, always carry the assigned radio to communicate with other departments and management
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Someone with a experience in a guest service role
  • Someone with an engaging and energetic personality
  • Food Handler and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and remain standing for the duration of the shift
