C# Developer - Global Investment Management Firm Central London (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) I'm partnering with a leading multinational investment management firm seeking a strong C# Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering business-critical platforms. This role requires someone confident with strong communication skills to engage directly with stakeholders, shaping requirements, and owning delivery end-to-end in a pragmatic, outcomes-focused environment. What you'll be working on: Real-time asset tracking platforms integrating external data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar, market data feeds, pricing & risk engines); High-availability, high-quality distributed applications; Enhancing systems that model financial positions, transactions and flows; Driving projects from inception through design, build, testing and release. Core requirements: Strong C# / .NET development experience; Advanced SQL skills (performance tuning, complex queries, data modelling); Azure cloud experience (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, DevOps etc.); Experience building highly available, resilient systems; Excellent communication skills - able to engage directly with business users; Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership & initiative. Desirable: Angular or another modern JavaScript framework; Financial services exposure (though strong engineers from other sectors are welcomed); Experience within Agile/Jira environments (pragmatic delivery mindset essential).
