C# Developer - Global Investment Management Firm Central London (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) I'm partnering with a leading multinational investment management firm seeking a strong C# Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering business-critical platforms. This role requires someone confident with strong communication skills to engage directly with stakeholders, shaping requirements, and owning delivery end-to-end in a pragmatic, outcomes-focused environment. What you'll be working on: Real-time asset tracking platforms integrating external data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar, market data feeds, pricing & risk engines) High-availability, high-quality distributed applications Enhancing systems that model financial positions, transactions and flows Driving projects from inception through design, build, testing and release Core requirements: Strong C# / .NET development experience Advanced SQL skills (performance tuning, complex queries, data modelling) Azure cloud experience (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, DevOps etc.) Experience building highly available, resilient systems Excellent communication skills - able to engage directly with business users Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership & initiative Desirable: Angular or another modern JavaScript framework Financial services exposure (though strong engineers from other sectors are welcomed) Experience within Agile/Jira environments (pragmatic delivery mindset essential) This is an excellent opportunity to build robust, real-time systems in a global financial environment while maintaining flexibility and ownership.
