Job Description

We are recruiting a C&I Account Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturers’ rep specializing in medium and low voltage electrical distribution, automation, protection, and reliability solutions. As a C&I Account Manager, you will support and grow relationships with commercial and industrial customers through promoting and selling medium and low voltage electrical equipment and solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship-building skills with technical aptitude and a consultative sales approach.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial end users
  • Promote and support medium and low voltage electrical equipment and solutions
  • Identify opportunities for new business growth and account expansion
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions
  • Work closely with engineering firms, electrical contractors, distributors, and manufacturer partners
  • Assist customers with product selection, application support, and project development
  • Coordinate quotations, project follow-up, and order management with internal support team
  • Manage project opportunities from specification through final sale
  • Maintain accurate customer and project information within CRM systems
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, as needed
  • Travel throughout ND, SD, MN, IA and WI to support customers and projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferred)
  • equivalent industry experience will be considered
  • Experience in electrical sales, power distribution, automation, industrial systems, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power reliability solutions, automation and SCADA systems, switchgear and protective relay and controls
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
