We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer’s Assistant to join the team at Chemist Warehouse New Zealand Support Office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with pharmacy experience as a Dispensary technician in New Zealand —who is looking to take the next step into a dynamic and fast-paced support role within our buying team. As a Buyer’s Assistant, you will work closely with the Category Buyer, supporting a wide range of tasks across pricing, ranging, stock allocations, and general administration. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product information is accurate, up to date, and effectively communicated across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure pricing is implemented and loaded accurately
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of new products and ranges
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding stock allocations and availability
  • Act as a key point of contact for stores, ensuring information is communicated clearly and in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Category Buyer across various product categories

Requirements

  • Pharmacy experience as a Dispensary technician in New Zealand
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team when required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence in presentation
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and databases including Excel
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the business
