Buyer

• Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for the Pikka Project
• Ensuring cost-effective procurement and purchase order lifecycle management while maintaining quality, reliability, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Oversee support provided by third party procurement services to ensure alignment with Company procedures
• Initiate purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
• Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle from creation through to closure
• Oversee supplier performance and resolving performance issues
• Identify and qualify new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering team members
• Align supplier orders with customer requirements
• Provide SCM support services to internal stakeholders
• Monitor and ensure process compliance as it relates to SCM activities
• Align and work closely with Logistics and Materials Management
• Mentor and provide guidance to other buyers
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

• High School Diploma with 4 years relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in purchasing
• Experience in an oil & gas environment, not required but could be beneficial
• Experience working with ERP systems for procurement and supply chain management, with SAP experience preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot table, combining large data sets, and complex formula development to support procurement reporting and decision making
