You will join the Procurement team to support end-to-end purchasing and sourcing activities, from needs identification and planning to supplier management and performance monitoring. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable procurement processes. You will contribute to supplier selection and relationship management, oversee purchasing cycles for assigned categories, support contract negotiations, and monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will assist in budget control and develop reports and KPIs to track performance and support decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Maintaining relationships with school representatives and the involved corporate functions
Collaborating with internal functions to ensure proper planning and management of purchases in order to avoid critical issues
Supporting the team in collecting requirements, selecting suppliers, and defining the sourcing model, ensuring the highest quality standards, maximizing cost efficiency, and promoting sustainability across the entire supply chain
Managing the entire purchasing cycle for specific categories: scouting, qualification, selection, negotiation, contracting, and monitoring
Supporting the team in negotiations with national and international suppliers regarding contractual terms such as purchase prices, payment terms, lead times, service standards, and production availability, as well as applying contractual standards and internal/external validation processes
Facilitating contract monitoring to create opportunities for renegotiation and ensure the competitiveness of the proposed solutions
Managing relationships with category suppliers on all relevant matters, both cost- and supply-related
Developing and maintaining a network of reliable suppliers, evaluating their performance and compliance with company standards (certifications, sustainability)
Monitoring market trends and price developments in the relevant categories to anticipate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
Supporting budget management and cost control
Creating dedicated Excel and PowerPoint reports for monitoring KPIs and relevant business cases
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in similar roles
Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving attitude
Strong orientation toward data analysis, innovation, and goal achievement
Excellent command of the English language
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for cost analysis)
In-depth knowledge of management/ERP software, JDE or other Procurement systems
Interest and passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI)
