Job Description:

This operational role is crucial for optimizing the supply chain and structuring inventory management. We are looking for a proactive and autonomous candidate (min. 2 years of experience) who can "think outside the box" to build sustainable processes. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the complete purchasing order cycle for a variety of critical components: conveyor systems, machined parts, electronic components, motors, hardware (nuts/bolts), and warehousing materials (PPE, office supplies)
  • Negotiate delivery dates, resolve supply issues, and ensure adherence to deadlines by suppliers (majority in Canada/Quebec, as well as internationally)
  • Actively participate in the search and qualification of new suppliers to optimize the supply chain
  • Collaborate in establishing an inventory management structure (Min/Max) to transform and optimize the logistics chain model
  • Coordinate purchasing, stock management, inventory, transportation, and logistics activities at the macro level (including production planning)
  • Use and optimize the ERP (EFS Cloud) and tools like Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for supply data analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and oral, for communications with internal and external (international) suppliers
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data extraction)
