Job Description:

We have a great opportunity with one of our clients who is adding to their team due to recent growth! In this role, you will be responsible for buying parts and materials --ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Import/Export experience in procurement and would love background in Aviation
  • Manage procurement activities -- including import and export
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Ensure cost reduction goals are met
  • Create purchase orders and work closely with Accounts Payable for on-time payment
  • Ensure goals are met within supply chain team
  • Maintain master tracking spreadsheet and work daily in ERP system
  • Collaborate with internal customer support team and external partners -- strong communication is a must
  • Act as back-up to accounts payable (when needed)

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a buyer, purchasing or procurement position
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
