Job Description:

Kimberly Casey is seeking a motivated Buyer/Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will facilitate efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates excellent organizational skills, and possesses a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify supply needs and secure materials, services, and equipment that align with operational goals
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure best value and service reliability
  • Cultivate strong, professional relationships with suppliers
  • Monitor vendor performance and address service or quality concerns as needed
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels through forecasting and usage analysis
  • Support the development and administration of inventory systems, particularly for maintenance parts
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on business demand
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including billing errors and supplier conflicts
  • Evaluate supply chain vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
  • Partner with internal teams to provide procurement insight and operational support
  • Take on other related duties that enhance efficiency and overall performance

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant procurement experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry required
  • Proven ability to research details thoroughly to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
  • Familiar with corporate structure, processes, and reporting expectations
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship management skills
