We are looking for a motivated Buyer / Planner to join our team on a contract to hire basis in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In this role, you will oversee the procurement and planning of materials to ensure a seamless supply chain that supports production and customer demand. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic wholesale distribution environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the procurement of materials to meet production schedules and customer requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to optimize purchasing activities
  • Analyze production schedules and align material planning accordingly
  • Review and adjust orders as needed to address changes in demand or supply chain disruptions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain management
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams
