Job Description

We’re looking for a Parts Buyer to join our ANZ team in St Marys NSW, playing a critical role in the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our Aftermarket Services (AMS) operation. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of high‑quality parts across the region - supporting our brand reputation, meeting market demand, and reducing customer downtime.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage RFQs for spare parts, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, evaluation, and recommendations
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies, DoA, and procurement standards
  • Research markets to maintain and expand a competitive supplier base, providing price benchmarking and purchasing advice
  • Build strong supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to optimise processes and deliver cost-saving initiatives
  • Resolve supply issues across quality, cost, delivery, and capacity
  • Maintain purchasing documentation, analyse data, and produce performance reports
  • Lead contract negotiation, execution, and management, ensuring legal and commercial compliance
  • Collaborate with central purchasing teams to align local and global sourcing strategies
  • Support audits, process improvements, and cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in spare parts procurement, ideally within a large-scale manufacturing or global organisation
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation with a collaborative, win-win approach
  • Sound understanding of procurement processes, compliance, and relevant legal requirements
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to convert data into practical actions
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP/purchasing systems
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Planner
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously improve processes
