We are looking for a detail-oriented Buyer Associate to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth procurement and supply chain operations while maintaining accurate documentation and fostering strong supplier relationships. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient logistics processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage purchase orders from creation to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate agreements and maintain positive relationships
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials to meet operational needs
  • Utilize SAP R/3 to track shipments, process receipts, and maintain supply chain data
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and document all transactions effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support logistics and supply chain processes
  • Prepare detailed reports, quotations, and specifications related to procurement activities
  • Assist in the training of team members on supply chain protocols and procedures
  • Maintain organized records of shipping and receiving activities
  • Address operational challenges and provide solutions to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or logistics
  • Associates Degree Required (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role required
  • Proficiency in SAP R/3 and other relevant software systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and analyze financial notes and documentation
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, including quotations and agreements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Completion of pre-employment requirements is necessary as part of the hiring process
