Job Description:

The Butler Valet position at The St. Regis Aruba Resort involves providing personalized service to fulfill all guest needs, ranging from delivering coffee and tea, coordinating VIP arrangements, handling laundry requests, and supporting hotel operations to ensure an exquisite guest experience. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to company policies and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Provide personalized service and attention to fulfilling all guest needs
deliver coffee and tea upon request
prepare notes of new arrivals
coordinate with front desk to prepare VIP rooms
check the room key and double checking guest expectations
escort early arrivals
be present upon guest check-in
complete butler flags
send pre-arrival emails
coordinate with front desk to escort VIPs to their rooms
work closely with Guest Services and Engineering departments
pick up laundry requests from guests
follow up on laundry delivery
return laundry to guests promptly
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
follow company policies and procedures
maintain professional appearance
welcome and acknowledge guests
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
assist individuals with disabilities
speak using clear and professional language
prepare and review written documents
answer telephones with etiquette
develop positive working relationships
support team goals
comply with quality assurance standards
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
no license or certification
