PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is on the lookout for someone who is interested in upskilling to become a qualified butcher. We pride ourselves on consistently achieving high success rates across our training and apprenticeship programs. You’ll train alongside a skilled, supportive team of butchers who are dedicated to helping you successfully complete your butcher apprenticeship. This is a permanent, full-time 40-hour position. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5:00 – 15:30 = 40 Hours. We’re committed to mentoring and supporting the successful applicant through a 3-year apprenticeship, completing the New Zealand Certificate in Butchery, Level 4.
Job Responsibility
Learn how to slice, mince and bone products
Learn how to tray, pack, and present products for sale
Gain a comprehensive understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety
Support the day-to-day operations of the butchery department
Requirements
Applicants must have New Zealand Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid Work Permit
Undergo a pre-employment drug test
