Job Description

We are recruiting a Business Unit Electrical Engineering Lead to support and oversee datacentre projects across Europe. You will coordinate multiple project design teams through tender, pre‑construction, installation and commissioning.

Job Responsibility

  • Travel across European project sites to support delivery
  • Maintain consistent engineering standards, procedures and workflows across all projects
  • Use Power BI dashboards to track engineering performance and KPIs
  • Promote lean methodologies and cross‑project continuous improvement
  • Support estimating with technically compliant, competitive tenders
  • Manage and integrate Design, Engineering and BIM teams (internal and external)
  • Lead technical reviews and identify value‑engineering opportunities
  • Deliver safe, sustainable and cost‑effective design solutions
  • Oversee procurement—from equipment enquiries to manufacture and delivery
  • Attend and record supply chain meetings to monitor progress
  • Prepare RAMS and ensure full Health & Safety compliance
  • Coordinate with design teams and suppliers to ensure successful commissioning and handover
  • Track onsite progress and maintain quality and environmental standards
  • Work with the Operations Director on engineering team setup, strategy and resource allocation
  • Ensure site personnel have correct and current training and certifications
