They have won numerous awards within the Retail Channel for ground breaking levels of growth and innovation; and they are the chosen authority on questions of category development within their product areas. In an exciting bid to further strengthen growth in the market, they are now seeking to appoint a Business Unit Director to Lead their growth plan into Convenience & Impulse.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic lead for total Convenience & Impulse (inc. On-The-Go) Channel
  • Drive business performance within accounts
  • Act as key lead for board visible strategic initiatives
  • Form category leading trading strategies
  • Strategic mapping & new business development (40%)
  • Leading the team & customer contact (40%)
  • Getting close to NPD, marketing & the manufacturing teams (20%)
  • Accountability for all senior contacts within Convenience & Impulse Channel
  • Working with key trade marketing stakeholders

Requirements

  • Operating at a high commercial level within a leading branded FMCG business
  • Experience at BUD/Channel Director level or extensive experience at Controller level
  • Significant channel experience across Convenience & Impulse, High-Street & On-The-Go, or OOH/Foodservice (Related to On-The-Go)
