Job Responsibility
Process bookings, amendments, and cancellations within service level agreement (SLA) through multiple contact channels
Converting general enquiries into actual bookings utilising all the tools and technology available
To obtain an accurate and comprehensive customer needs brief by using appropriate questioning techniques
Working to the clients travel policy finding the most appropriate options to the customer
Ensure the highest level of customer service is always offered to internal and external customers
To effectively resolve internal and external customer and supplier queries, escalating where appropriate
Responsible for completing all mandatory training as determined by the business
Accurately process data to ensure compliance with GDPR & ISO standards
Keep up to date with travel trends and Industry knowledge
Promote a professional image to all customers and suppliers
To be aware of team targets and overall team performance against targets
Maximize supplier income by actively promoting and selling through our agreed preferred partners
Requirements
Experience in Business Travel working at a TMC
Galileo GDS experience - a test will be sent out for this
Knowledge of the Travel Industry
Proven customer service experience
IT & Computer literate with experience of email and web-based programs & GDS skills (Galileo)
The ability to work accurately under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The ability to understand our clients’ needs and requirements
The ability to think logically and consider all relevant aspects with strong analytical skills
To work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives
DUE TO Security vetting for this role you must of been a resident in the Uk for a min of 3 years
