GDS experience is essential - Amadeus but happy to cross train
Previous experience in booking complex fares and itineraries.

Job Responsibility

Working on Amadeus you will be dealing with a mix of accounts
Booking all manner of business travel including flights, hotels, car hire, rail
Making amendments to bookings and dealing with reissues

Requirements

Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is a must, 2 years plus
A good working knowledge of Galileo (Smart point), but they will cross train
A good communicator, well organised and used to working to tight deadlines while under pressure
A positive and professional telephone manner
Confident interacting with clients and suppliers on the telephone
Maintain a professional & positive attitude when dealing with suppliers, customers and fellow colleagues

Job Responsibility

Provide a first-class service to clients
Assist all clients with travel bookings and process efficiently using Galileo
Provide excellent service via communications with customers and accuracy of bookings
Communicate with customers by telephone, email or in person in a professional and friendly manner
Provide clients with suitable travel options and suggestions
Arrange all travel from flights to car hire to hotels
Be involved in ticketing processes for all travel checking interline/ticketing agreements and the BSP website
Proactively maintain relationships with clients at all times
Process responses to clients within agreed service level agreements
