We are currently seeking a Business Transformation Office Director to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). The Director, Business Transformation will lead and deliver complex enterprise transformation engagements across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering-intensive industries. This role combines deep process expertise with the ability to build business cases, design future-state operating models, and orchestrate cross-functional programs from assessment through value realization. The candidate will serve as engagement lead on client-facing transformation programs where they will own the relationship from executive workshop through roadmap delivery while contributing to the growth of NTT DATA’s Business Transformation Office practice, methodology, and reusable intellectual property. This is a player-coach role.
Job Responsibility:
Lead enterprise transformation assessments end-to-end: current-state discovery, process mapping, gap analysis, future-state design, and roadmap development
Facilitate executive workshops (C-suite / VP level) to align business strategy with transformation priorities, define KPIs, and build consensus on investment sequencing
Own client relationships at the engagement level: managing scope, timeline, risk, and steering committee communications
Build and present business cases that connect process improvements to quantified financial outcomes (cost reduction, revenue acceleration, working capital impact)
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across business, IT, and third-party delivery teams during complex program execution
Map current-state processes, define control points and KPIs, and design future-state process architectures aligned to platform capabilities (SAP, Oracle, Windchill, Teamcenter, etc.)
Define operating model components: roles, governance structures, RACI matrices, and decision-rights frameworks for transformed processes
Create business capability maps, value streams, and target-state enterprise architectures that connect strategy to execution
Apply value mapping methodologies to translate process improvements into measurable financial and operational outcomes
Build and maintain value realization dashboards that track benefit capture from baseline through go-live and steady state
Develop technology roadmaps and debt remediation plans that sequence investments against quantified business value
Partner with client finance and operations leadership to validate assumptions, define measurement protocols, and report on realized value
Contribute to the development and refinement of BTO methodologies, frameworks, templates, and reusable assets
Support business development activities including proposal development, solution architecture, and client pursuit presentations
Mentor junior team members (analysts, consultants) through hands-on project coaching
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or industry roles leading cross-functional change programs
Functional expertise in the business of IT with the ability to map processes, identify gaps, and design future-state solutions
Demonstrated experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite / VP-level stakeholders
Proven track record of building business cases with measurable outcomes
Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms (SAP, Oracle, PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or equivalent) in a functional/process capacity as someone who understands what these systems do and how they enable process change
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into executive-ready narratives
Must reside in the United States
Experience leading ERP consolidation or platform migration assessments (multi-instance to single-instance, legacy to cloud)
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or business architecture disciplines (capability mapping, value stream analysis)
Experience with Digital Transformation in manufacturing environments: MES, IoT/IIoT, Private 5G, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
Experience working in or with manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or engineering-intensive organizations
Background in change management methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR) or organizational design
