Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to partner closely with our Engineering team and take ownership of SolidWorks initiatives. This role is a blend of business analysis, project management, and technical problem solving. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, drive modernization efforts, and help establish a roadmap to transition from outdated systems into scalable, cloud-based solutions.

Job Responsibility:

serve as the point of contact for SolidWorks initiatives, working with Engineering and external vendors
act as a project manager for initiatives tied to SolidWorks and related engineering workflows
analyze current systems and processes, and help define a roadmap for modernization
support technical projects such as building cloud databases, establishing data pipelines, and implementing tracking solutions
manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from small licensing tasks to larger initiatives such as application testing and server replication
provide actionable insights and reporting using data tools
assist with SQL or software-related tasks to maintain and support systems

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization and time management skills
experience with data warehousing and analytics tools such as Power BI, SAS, or Tableau
familiarity with software development concepts
ability to support SQL and technical environments (not a full-time developer role)
strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
ability to adapt to new technologies, including AI tools for research and analysis

Nice to have:

exposure to SolidWorks or engineering-related projects
experience supporting cloud migrations or modernization initiatives
