Job Description:

Robert Half is in search of a Business Systems Analyst to join our client's team in Appleton, WI. This role involves the use of data analysis, technical systems analysis, and technical support skills, particularly in the ERP domain. The primary responsibilities include gathering and categorizing information, creating visual tools for business analysis, and providing technical leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibility:

Gather and categorize detailed information to determine the most suitable resolution methods
develop visual tools using data from ERP and other sources to aid business analysis
carry out level I system administration tasks
collaborate with external vendors to impart understanding of the system setup and work environment
exercise detail-oriented judgment in problem analysis to either attempt a hardware/software solution or determine the level of maintenance needed
provide technical leadership and training for entry level technical support analysts when necessary
conduct technical support and systems administration tasks
demonstrate agility, sound judgment, independent thinking, follow-through, and initiative in solving moderately complex issues
communicate effectively, demonstrating solid computer proficiency
demonstrate a results-oriented approach with the ability to multi-task, respond quickly to needs, and meet deadlines
display good organizational skills and the ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
undertake other projects and activities as assigned

Requirements:

Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
proven experience as a Business Analyst
proficiency in ERP and other business systems, preferably in a manufacturing setting
expertise in Tableau (or Power BI) for data visualization and analysis is necessary
strong command over SQL for managing and manipulating databases is essential
excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business systems
strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and translate their needs into technical requirements
knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
candidate must demonstrate a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
a proactive approach towards identifying and implementing system improvements is desired
experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation
