Job Description

As a Business Systems Analyst at Lam, you will be leading strategic Programs that identify business problems and provide systems solutions/ systems improvement analysis in the Spares Planning function. In your role, you will be closely working on analytics, resolving production issues and driving/executing projects for spares planning organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitoring and analysing of spares demand/forecast, supply plan, inventory levels, identifying trends and anomalies to prevent over/under planning
  • Analyse short/long term requirement vs supply plan and recommend systemic enhancement to optimize inventory
  • Analyse supply plan and enable inventory rebalancing/redistribution by identifying different opportunities
  • Review and validate internal orders at transaction level (order match) and enable strategies for optimal utilization of inventory within the network
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to optimally manage spares inventory
  • Work with global stake holder (internal and external) in identifying systemic/process issues and provide a scalable solution
  • Responsible for maintaining spares data integrity of various database & dashboard
  • Analyse planning data per business requirement, identify solution, carry out UAT & implement changes to production environment
  • Should be experienced in SAP. Have a good understanding of 3rd party forecasting/supply planning tool (SPM by PTC, Kinaxis etc.)
  • Work with cross-functional team on end-to-end project implementation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-9 years of experience
  • Engineering degree in the field of Industrial Production/Mechanical (APICS CSCP/CPIM preferred)
  • Exposure to planning function & inventory management is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of spares planning, supply planning & inventory management principles
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. SPM, SAP ERP, Kinaxis or other relevant inventory management systems)
  • Good understanding of system & data integration (Jobs and workflows)
  • Hands-On technical skills (like Advanced Excel, SQL Programming, Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Ability to analyse data and derive meaningful outcomes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
