As a Business Systems Analyst supporting Baxter’s Respiratory Health business, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the data, reporting, and system capabilities that power a rapidly growing product portfolio. This is a hands‑on, highly impactful role where you’ll translate real operational needs into reliable data solutions, system enhancements, and insights that help teams make better decisions. You’ll work across SQL Server and Oracle environments, support critical order‑to‑cash processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a business process and system expert for Respiratory Health applications, supporting daily operations and ensuring data accuracy across order‑to‑cash processes
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑wide reporting solutions, including core business reports, exception reporting, and dashboards
Write efficient SQL Server and Oracle queries to support data pulls, integrations, and the maintenance of the data warehouse used for ERP reporting
Monitor system health, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable, timely delivery of recurring reports and analytics
Perform data profiling and analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that support operational and continuous improvement initiatives
Translate user needs into clear business requirements and act as a liaison between business partners and system development/configuration teams (TIMS, JDE, and others)
Support project implementations, system enhancements, and cross‑functional initiatives, including work with patient service managers, finance, and continuous improvement teams
Stay current on industry data standards and reporting technologies, contributing to ongoing improvements and future‑focused initiatives such as AI‑driven efficiency projects
Requirements:
2–5+ years of experience in data analysis, business systems, or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in SQL and relational databases preferred
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or an associate’s degree with relevant experience strongly preferred
Hands‑on experience with SQL Server or Oracle (and the ability to learn the other quickly), along with an understanding of data architecture and performance best practices
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or Tableau—or the technical aptitude and curiosity to learn them rapidly
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to validate data, identify anomalies, and translate findings into actionable insights
Comfort working directly with end users to gather requirements, clarify needs, and deliver practical, reliable solutions
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners across operations, finance, patient services, and system teams
A proactive, adaptable mindset with a desire to learn new tools, technologies, and approaches—especially as Respiratory Health expands into AI‑driven initiatives
