As a Business Systems Analyst for Finance Systems, you will play a key role in advancing Zuora’s Finance SaaS ecosystem. You’ll use your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills to enhance system integrations, streamline business processes, and ensure reliability across finance systems. Job Responsibility:
Partnering with Finance and Accounting teams to evaluate business needs and optimize processes across Treasury Accounting, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting, ensuring efficiency and alignment with industry best practices
Leading initiatives to enhance core financial workflows including Banking, Treasury Accounting, Month-End Close, and Record-to-Report to drive operational efficiency and strengthen overall business performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, develop user stories, manage approvals, support solution development, and coordinate testing through release
Providing system support for key financial platforms such as NetSuite, BlackLine, and Coupa, resolving configuration, data, and transactional issues
Developing and maintaining user documentation and training materials, and delivering training sessions to improve adoption and system effectiveness
Managing IT support tickets, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
Maintaining system documentation and SOPs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness
Drive Financial System Enhancements
Lead automation and optimization of General Ledger, Intercompany, Consolidation, and Reporting processes within NetSuite, improving data integration and visibility
Enhance bank reconciliation and cash management workflows to streamline financial operations and accuracy
Accelerate Financial Close & Reporting
Shorten and improve the month-end close process to deliver faster, more accurate financial results
Strengthen the reliability and consistency of financial data to support informed business decisions
Optimize Business Processes & Scalability
Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process and system improvements that enhance usability, efficiency, and scalability
Provide IT cross-support by collaborating across teams to align systems, integrations, and workflows with best practices and future business growth
Collaborate & Deliver Impact
Build strong partnerships with Finance, Accounting, and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
Deepen understanding of financial workflows while driving continuous system and process improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System (MIS), Finance, Accounting, or related field
Over 3+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst within a finance or accounting environments, with strong emphasis on ERP/financial systems such as NetSuite
Solid understanding of core financial operations, including accounting principles, month-end close activities, and FP&A practices related to allocations, budgeting, and forecasting
Direct, hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
familiarity with platforms like Coupa, Blackline, and other finance tools is a plus
Able to manage projects end to end from gathering requirements to solution design and testing
Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for process improvement and quality assurance
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—for effectively gathering requirements, documenting processes, developing test strategies, and collaborating across teams
Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements, including IT controls, SOX, SDLC, and change management
