We’re seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Specialists to join our team in Albany, New York. In this long-term contract role, you’ll work within our service center, specializing in finance, human resources, or support services. This position emphasizes cross-training and adaptability, allowing you to contribute across multiple service areas as needed.
Job Responsibility:
Process transactions in finance, HR, or support services, following established procedures and service level agreements
Apply working knowledge of relevant policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Respond to inquiries and resolve issues through the call center and ticketing system
Investigate and correct complex processing errors to maintain data integrity
Analyze data to support audits and improve operational practices
Provide professional, responsive customer service
Identify user needs and recommend system or process enhancements
Assist with audit reviews and evaluations
Collaborate with team members to manage workload across service lines
Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication, including email correspondence
Requirements:
High school diploma with three years of relevant experience in processing business, finance, or HR transactions
or 60 semester credit hours of college-level study
or 30 semester credit hours of college-level study and one year of related experience
Proficiency in customer service and communication skills
Strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and human resources administration
Familiarity with ticketing systems and call center operations
Experience in data analysis and resolving complex auditing issues
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing workloads
Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping and financial practices
Knowledge of service level agreements and vendor relations
