Job Description:

Expression of Interest: Business Support Officers (Temporary Roles). Randstad is working with various Government departments in and around Perths CBD, offering exciting opportunities for Business Support Officers to join multiple teams on a temporary basis. These roles are potential to extend for the right candidate, for example 6 months with possible extension.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate smooth business operations by coordinating work flows between departments
  • Assist in project management and support the implementation of business initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency
  • Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Maintain records, databases, and office systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial transactions as required
  • Assist with general office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, with professionalism
  • Prepare, organise, and maintain records, reports, and important documentation
  • Monitor office supplies and arrange timely replenishment's

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
