Birmingham Children’s Trust is the largest provider of family support and social care services for children, young people and families in the country. We have an exciting opportunity within the Placements Team– part of our Business Support Service for a self-motivated Business Support Officer providing essential support to our practice staff members. You will receive training and support in all areas. We are looking for people who are well organised; have good attention to detail and who can work to and meet tight deadlines; you must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
Job Responsibility:
Oversight of quality, monitoring and analysis of KPIs
Monitor, co-ordinate and supervise the work of a small team of Business Support Assistants
Maintaining oversight and monitoring of processes ensuring consistency
Maintaining staffing rotas
Play an important role in the effective day to day running of the service
Requirements:
Microsoft programmes: Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook
Good communication and organisational skills
Good soft skills: active listening, working with key stakeholders of all levels
The ability to independently interpret and analyse information and facts to solve varied problems
The ability to manage a process, ensuring accurate and timely outputs
Able to resolve internal/external issues and provide a solution focused response
Attention to detail with an ability to work accurately e.g. literacy and numeracy
Experience of working in a pressured environment, dealing with several conflicting and changing priorities effectively to achieve business objectives
Must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham
Have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK
