We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individual who can ensure that a high level of administrative support is provided to the Repairs and Maintenance team. In this key role, as a Business Support Officer, you will provide a co-ordinated, consistent, and high-quality supporting service to deliver an essential range of technical and non-technical support to the day-to-day operations of various service areas and projects, including responsive and planned repairs, disrepairs, insurance cases, damp and mould, empty homes. The post holder must be flexible, approachable, and be keen to work well with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues, providing cover for other Business Support Officers and workstreams, when required. The successful candidate must be a proactive, well-organized individual with a good knowledge of social housing, preferably in a responsive repairs or maintenance department. You will have a passion for ensuring customers are at the heart of what we do, so you will need to be a good communicator.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Strong communication skills with a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused attitude
A flexible approach to work with the ability to plan own work over short timescales for routine or familiar tasks and use your initiative to work independently
Proven organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities to ensure service continuity during team absences
Experience in minute or note taking
Experience in working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Experience of financial management, including raising orders and processing invoices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, and financial software
Commitment to personal development and improving service delivery
Nice to have:
A good knowledge of social housing, preferably in a responsive repairs or maintenance department
