Our client is a QLD government organisation based in Marsden QLD. They are currently seeking a Business Support Officer for Receipting and Invoicing to come in and join their team on a temp contract opportunity until 30th June 2026 with possible extensions.
Job Responsibility
Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver professional communication and relationship management across all channels, handling complex enquiries and representing the Council to the community
Business & Fleet Operations: Provide administrative support for Payroll, Fleet, and Hire services while managing accurate records and operating procedures
Financial Administration: Manage invoicing, costing anomalies, and requisitions, including advanced financial reporting and budget reconciliation
Quality & Process Improvement: Conduct quality audits and implement system improvements to enhance service efficiency and documentation accuracy
Team Mentoring & Workflow: Lead onboarding and staff coaching while assisting with workflow planning to meet fluctuating customer demands
Governance & Ethical Practice: Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards while prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure, changing environment.
Requirements
Previous experience with Receipting and Invoicing
Extensive experience in a fast-paced business administration environment delivering customer service to multiple teams
Highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your workload and collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
