We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant (Stores & Fleet) to join our Stores Team within the Property Maintenance and Construction Department, based in Spennymoor. In this varied and hands-on role, you will support the delivery of an effective and responsive business support service, with a primary focus on stores and fleet operations across all geographical areas of the Property Maintenance Department. This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and playing a key part in the smooth running of our in-house stores operation.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting with day-to-day stores and fleet activities to support operational teams
Providing a high-quality business support service across multiple locations
Undertaking manual handling tasks as required
Carrying out driving duties in support of the role
Requirements:
Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service
Flexible, reliable, and willing to get stuck in
A full and valid driving licence is essential
Experience within a materials procurement, stores, or warehouse environment would be advantageous
