Job Description:

On behalf of a prestigious and highly disciplined secondary academy in Croydon, we are seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher for a long-term placement. This role is to commence as soon as possible and will run through to the end of the academic year. The school is renowned for its exceptional behaviour policy and high academic standards. As such, we are looking for a practitioner who is confident in their subject knowledge and can maintain a focused, high-energy learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

delivering Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE, BTEC, and A Level)
maintain a focused, high-energy learning environment

Requirements:

UK QTS (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
relevant degree
valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one)
key stage 3 experience
key stage 4 experience
key stage 5 experience
knowledge of A-level specification
knowledge of curriculum
knowledge of GCSE specification
knowledge of subject
Teaching
excellent time management
good behaviour management skills
good classroom management

Nice to have:

ability to teach A Level Economics
