Justteachers are currently recruiting for a Business Studies teacher to work within one of our partner secondary schools based near Huntingdon starting ASAP. The role is a full-time teaching position on a long term supply basis teaching up to KS5. This larger than average rural academy provides’ s a comprehensive curriculum placing importance not only on the main academic performance but equally offering excellent vocational and technical studies to help create well rounded students.

Job Responsibility:

To teach challenging and enjoyable lessons across all key stages (KS4-5)
To work collaboratively within a vibrant department, confidently sharing new ideas, during staff meetings
Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions
Be aware of pupils’ capabilities and their prior knowledge, and plan teaching to build on these
Encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study

Requirements:

Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent
Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities
Understands and is committed to teaching standards
Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload
Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
