Job Description:

The Business Strategy Manager demonstrates deep problem-solving and analytical skills to efficiently frame business problems, present thoughtful recommendations, and guide strategic and operational decisions impacting business growth. This role performs detailed analysis, identify trends and define fields of opportunity for the line of business/function. Will be responsible to communicate complicated data, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner. This role works cross-functionally at all levels, including senior leadership, to drive strategy adoption and execution. This role uses a data-driven approach when collaborating with teams to inspire change and craft business growth.

Job Responsibility:

Uses a hypothesis-based approach to structure and perform analyses, extract and analyze data, and address ambiguous and sophisticated problems
Builds financial and other decision-making models
Partners across teams to develop comprehensive understanding of critical business needs, identify key issues, and structure problem-solving approaches accordingly
Constructs executive-level presentations, crafting a strategic story out of the numbers to present analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of strategic frameworks, industry trends, and corporate and customer drivers in order to improve, reengineer or maintain company performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's - Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or related field
Master's/Advanced Degree MBA – Finance, Strategy, Economics
4-7 years - Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations
4 to 7 years - Financial modeling and Analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing data
Less than 2 years Project management. Experience leading project independently, engaging and getting agreement from customers, crafting roadmaps and project plans
Management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or other experience requiring quantitative analysis

Nice to have:

Management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or other experience requiring quantitative analysis
Familiarity with the wireless, telecom, and broader technology sectors
