The Business Solution Architect plays a key role to ensuring Corporate Functions maintains and expands its competitive edge by delivering business solutions and providing architecture and platform adoption for existing and new customers within Vodafone, across the telecommunications sector and beyond. The solutions will strengthen Corporate Functions ability to deliver cutting-edge services that can scale (in line with the rest of the organisation) whilst striving to set new industry benchmarks. This role is critical to ensuring the organization remains competitive and future-ready.
Job Responsibility:
Architect the design and implementation of advanced, scalable business solutions for Corporate Functions and beyond, ensuring alignment with established architecture principles, guardrails and governance
Contribute to defining and evolving the Corporate Functions architecture strategy, including maintaining frameworks and standards across all towers and subsidiaries
Support platform adoption governance, driving measurable improvements in standardisation, automation, user experience, and operational efficiency
Use platform adoption metrics to define, assess and recommend high-impact improvement opportunities across processes, platforms and operating models
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration for wireframing, solution analysis, target architecture definition, implementation and delivery of user journeys, business solutions and interfaces - ensuring reusability, customer satisfaction and readiness for scale
Support the creation of business value cases, ensuring benefit realization, cost optimization and alignment with strategy
Represent CF in internal architecture forums and external partner engagements, supporting alignment, partnership development, and strategic influence.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the most relevant software solutions in multiplex Telco IT environments, including ERP systems, Data & Analytics, RPA, AI, and Microsoft platforms
Master degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline
Proven experience in contributing to transformation, digitalization and or/ innovation solution initiatives
+5 years of proven experience delivering business and solution architectures across multi-disciplinary domains, preferably within large telecommunications or IT organisations
Extensive knowledge of systems, processes and service operations, particularly within Finance, HR and SCM domain, with strong understanding of end-to-end process optimisation
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and lead cross-functionally teams at all levels, including technology and business stakeholders
Experience in customer consultancy, including the ability to present strategic business concepts and drive user-centric, value-led outcomes
Deep understanding of Business Analysis, Solution Design Thinking, and Requirements Engineering, with the capability to shape intuitive and effective user journeys
Proven experience in defining and documenting solution architecture, including wireframes, workflow designs, integration and user experience flows
Ability to evaluate, compare and recommend solutions and products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business strategy
Passion for driving customer excellence through scalable, reusable, cost-efficient and automated solutions that enhance the user experience
Highly self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong alignment with the Solution Strategy and Platform Optimisation Lead
Experience working in complex, multi-project or multi-programme environments
Ability to support and enable teams through agile ways of working.
