Job Description:

Crowe Watson Recruitment is supporting a well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester in their search for a Business Services Senior. This role involves preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and advisory work, with opportunities for development and progression in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
  • Supporting clients with cloud accounting and software queries
  • Assisting with business advisory work and project work
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues, and HMRC
  • Supervising and reviewing work of junior staff

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (or equivalent)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and software
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively
