Job Description:

Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a Business Services Senior. The role involves preparing accounts, tax computations, and offering general business advice and support to a varied client portfolio from sole traders to larger limited companies. The firm provides excellent ongoing training and development opportunities in a forward-thinking, people-focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients
Preparation of management accounts and reports
Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping
Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
Liaising with clients and providing business advice
Working closely with partners and managers on client projects

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part/fully qualified (or equivalent)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
A proactive and team-oriented approach
