Job Responsibility

  • preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • preparation of VAT returns
  • preparation of management accounts
  • bookkeeping duties using various accounting software
  • client liaison and relationship building
  • assisting with training and mentoring junior staff

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
  • must have a minimum of 1 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
  • ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • high attention to detail and a proactive approach
