The Business Services Automation Lead is responsible for defining and executing the automation strategy for Global Business Services (GBS), providing services to Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), HR, and other business functions. This role drives innovation through AI, machine learning, hyperautomation, and advanced workflow technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and impactful solutions. You will lead a team of specialists, develop automation roadmaps, and deliver high-quality solutions that optimize corporate processes across multiple departments. Collaboration with IT, process owners, and business stakeholders is key to identifying opportunities for end-to-end automation, leveraging technologies such as RPA, AI/ML, NLP, process mining, ServiceNow workflows, and low-code platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Own and evolve the GBS automation and AI roadmap, aligned with strategic transformation goals
Develop and maintain automation frameworks, governance models, and best practices for scalability and compliance
Define solution standards, documentation, and approval workflows for automation initiatives
Establish and manage an Automation Center of Expertise (CoE), selecting appropriate technologies (RPA, AI/ML, NLP, process mining, ServiceNow, workflow orchestration)
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities across GBS, SCM, HR, Finance, and other departments, ensuring measurable business impact
Drive productivity improvements through automation and AI-driven solutions
Oversee operational management of digital workforce, monitoring performance and optimizing utilization
Benchmark market trends and integrate advanced AI capabilities (e.g., predictive analytics, generative AI, conversational bots)
Collaborate with IT on technology selection, infrastructure, and security compliance
Ensure consistency and continuity across multiple delivery teams through solution design reviews
Mentor and develop team members, fostering expertise in AI, automation, and emerging technologies
Continuously explore new tools and services to enhance automation maturity
Requirements:
7+ years of experience including: Business process automation and AI-driven solutions, ideally in a global or shared services environment
People leadership, mentoring, and team development
Proven track record in designing and implementing automation strategies using diverse technologies (RPA-UiPath, AI/ML, NLP, process mining, ServiceNow)
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results through automation
Knowledge of application development lifecycle and integration patterns
Familiarity with multiple automation platforms and AI services
Understanding of data-driven automation and leveraging AI for predictive and prescriptive analytics
