Job Description:

The Markets Shared Controls Group (SCG) supports the Markets business globally through efficient execution of controls/activities across regions, products, and risk categories. The role involves risk assessment, process optimization, control monitoring, and collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance. Key responsibilities include identifying risks, driving compliance, and assisting in projects while maintaining strong relationships with internal partners.

Job Responsibility:

Liaise with front office contacts while establishing and maintaining solid relationships with internal partners in the business
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Collaborating with various businesses across Markets to deliver on organizational objectives
Working as part of a global team to monitor controls, provide oversight and escalate issues in a timely manner
Developing communication and similar material for presentation to a wide variety of audiences from stakeholders, peers and management
Assisting in special projects/tech enhancements

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree required
Strong influence management and relationship skills
5-8 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls
Knowledge of global markets traded products including downstream processing practices and related control principles a positive
Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge of global markets traded products including downstream processing practices and related control principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
