Job Description:

The Business Risk Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role that operates at the heart of Citi’s Markets COO Team. It focuses on applying analytical thinking, managing processes, and achieving effective results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Timely and accurate execution of controls/processes assigned
Performance of reconciliation, reporting, and escalation
Manage communication with and coordination of the support functions within Markets
Proactively review process to identify deficiencies or control gaps
Raise challenge for processes not aligned with the Markets objectives
Support the expansion and migration initiatives to be transitioned to the team

Requirements:

Relevant experience in risk, compliance, audit or regulatory functions
Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements
Project management skills
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and adapt to change
Problem solver with the ability to translate plans in actions
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Communication - Excellent oral and written communications skills
Must be articulate and persuasive
Change Agent - Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively
Self starting with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Teamwork - Must be able to work in a team environment, listen and work well with others
Team-oriented, client-focused and open to different ideas/viewpoints
Organizational Skills – Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Strong analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability
Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency
