Job Description:

The SES Business Risk Analyst role will have global responsibilities for a book of both public and private equity financing transactions. The position offers exposure to several products, including Margin Loans, Private Equity Limited Partnership financing, Net Asset Value financing and Structured Prime. The Analyst will focus on tracking covenant compliance and trend analysis, with an opportunity to learn company financial analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Review compliance certificates and covenants in NAV, PELP and structured prime transactions, analyze portfolio trends and highlight significant moves in the portfolio
Perform regular data checks and coordinate with operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of SES data, pull data for ad hoc requests
Run counterparty risk ratings of non-credit managed issuers in the CAT/Citi Financial/Helios system, review memos and complete quality control checklists
Work with the SES team to complete quarterly and regional annual portfolio review requirements for SES products
Assist in managing and monitoring trends and developments in the existing Margin Loan, PELP, NAV and structured prime book
Assist with special projects and business initiatives including portfolio reviews, group policies and guidelines, regulatory requests, audit reviews

Requirements:

0-1 year of experience data management/portfolio reporting
attention to detail and ability to coordinate deliverables across a variety of groups
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to create presentation materials
Ability to work with senior members of the team, sense of ownership to follow-up and complete tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
