Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Specialist. The role involves being accountable for a complex portfolio of customers, overseeing accounts, identifying opportunities for process improvement, evaluating profitability and risk, and ensuring compliance. The job also involves handling complex customer issues, resolving escalations, and collaborating with colleagues and managers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be accountable for a complex portfolio of customers
  • Share leadership role with managers to oversee a portfolio of accounts
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within the portfolio
  • Review and analyze the decision process for customer accounts and evaluate profitability and risk of designated portfolio
  • Verify compliance and report identified issues for resolution
  • Make decisions on complex customer issues
  • Partner with managers to resolve issues and provide status updates on implementations
  • Develop expertise in the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Handle complex customer issues which include escalation and resolution
  • Lead team and serve as a subject matter expert for the department
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Sound analytical thinking with high attention to detail and focus on research across various platforms
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • High level of personal motivation and strong interpersonal skills to work across time zones
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work in shifts

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Commercial loan servicing or commercial lending operations
  • Customer support focus with ability to understand servicing needs and recommend solutions
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to provide strong customer service support and develop internal relationships with front line teams
  • Ability to participate in moderately complex customer transactions
  • Knowledge and understanding of business banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
