Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Associate to be responsible for a complex portfolio of customers, share leadership role with managers to oversee accounts, identify process improvements, review and analyze customer account decisions, evaluate portfolio profitability and risk, verify compliance, and develop expertise in policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for a complex portfolio of customers
  • Share leadership role with managers to oversee a portfolio of accounts
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within the portfolio
  • Review and analyze the decision process for customer accounts
  • Evaluate the profitability and risk of designated portfolio
  • Verify compliance and report identified issues for resolution
  • Present recommendations to resolve and exercise independent judgment
  • Develop expertise in the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Provide general servicing and transaction assistance (non-money movement)
  • Perform commercial banking systems updates including internal clean-up of product codes, authorized representative updates and signer maintenance, address changes, legal entity management requests
  • Customer call preparation and transaction support

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Business Relationship Support experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • At least a B.Com or equivalent degree preferably MBA/M.Com
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Sound analytical thinking/high attention to detail with focus on research across various platforms
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • High level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills to work across time zone
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work in shifts

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Commercial loan servicing or commercial lending operations
  • Customer support focus with the ability to understand servicing needs and recommend solutions
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to provide strong customer service support and develop internal relationships with front line teams
  • Ability to participate in moderately complex customer transactions
