Job Description:

As a part of Zip's business recruiting team, you will be responsible for the building blocks of the company. As a Business Sourcer (Contract), you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and helping screen candidates. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to learn, move, and adapt quickly, and remains laser focused on both quality and strong results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Effectively identify and attract G&A and Customer Team candidates (ie: Accounting, Finance, Customer Success and Solution Consulting)
  • Source a large pipeline of high quality candidates across high priority roles
  • Engage exceptional candidates, vet them, and manage interviewing and hiring processes, keeping candidate experience top of mind
  • Partner with Zip’s leaders to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles
  • Partner closely with cross-functional team members to land successful hires
  • Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve Zip's recruiting processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience of sourcing experience on business roles
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationship with senior leadership
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and strive for excellence in everything you do
  • Pride yourself in being incredibly proactive and moving fast
  • Detail-oriented and organized, extremely proactive, and comfortable managing multiple reqs or competing priorities at a time
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with senior leadership
  • Strong experience with ATS systems, ideally Ashby

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a fast paced startup environment
  • Previous full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience negotiating compensation, working with startup equity and ambiguity
