The Supply Chain Business Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for identifying, supporting, and leading initiatives that drive operational efficiency and process optimization across EMEA Supply Chain organization. Acting as a cross-functional change agent, the role ensures that process enhancements are aligned with Valvoline's business objectives and support long-term operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Identify, support, and/or implement process improvement opportunities across the supply chain organization
Collaborate with functional departments to identify and resolve inefficiencies
Ensure all process improvements are aligned with business goals
Maintain process documentation, procedures, and work instructions
Proactively identify and manage risks associated with new or changed processes
Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and benefits
Coordinate with and manage external stakeholders during the execution and implementation of process initiatives
Serve as the first point of contact for supply chain-related process questions
Act as supply chain SME in global and regional RFQs
Contribute to new product and solution development by evaluating operational feasibility
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Support strategic customer interactions on an ad hoc basis
Requirements:
BSc or MSc in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration
5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations management
Strong experience working in multicultural, multi-regional or global organizations within a matrixed structure
Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and influencing at all organizational levels
Deep understanding of supply chain processes and ERP (e.g., SAP) functionality
